Partz begins by asking how a piece is used. More than how it looks, we look for the structure that lets an object do its job — and become simpler because of it. Not minimalism, but design made simple by cutting away unnecessary structure.

The name comes from collecting the leftover parts after building Lego and model kits. Every part has its own function and appeal; making new, useful things from that instinct is where Partz starts.

We design the hardware ourselves and build in order — purpose → space → structure → material → proportion. Bolts, joints, load, transport, and the making process decide the design. So Partz explains "why it's made this way" rather than "it looks nice."

Where Partz wants to arrive is clear: a Korean furniture company the next generation can inherit.

쓰임부터 설계하는 가구.

파츠는 가구의 쓰임을 먼저 묻습니다. 예쁘게 보이는 것보다, 물건이 제 역할을 다하면서 단순해지는 구조를 봅니다. 미니멀이 아니라 '불필요한 구조를 줄인 결과로 단순해진 디자인'을 지향합니다.

레고와 프라모델을 조립하고 남은 부품(Parts)을 모으던 기억에서 이름이 나왔습니다. 부품 하나하나가 가진 기능과 매력 — 그 감각으로 새로운 쓰임의 물건을 만드는 것이 파츠의 출발점입니다.

하드웨어부터 직접 설계하고, 목적 → 공간 → 구조 → 재료 → 비율 순서로 만듭니다. 볼트·결합·하중·운반·제작 공정이 디자인을 결정합니다. 그래서 파츠는 '예쁘다'보다 '왜 이렇게 만들어졌는가'를 설명합니다.
